Phoslock holds Phosphorus below Eutrophic Levels for Second Summer

lorane dataThe Lake Lorene Project in Federal Way, Washington remains toxic algae free for the second summer because of the proactive phosphorus management program the Homeowners Association have implemented.  For the past two summers, applications of Phoslock have sequestered phosphorus and maintained the lake in an algae free state.  Prior to this application excessive nutrient loading have resulted in cyanobacteria blooms that have tested positive for toxins.  For more information on this project, read the Case Study accessable from the front page of our web site.
