Aquatechnex biologists are embarking on a Eurasian Milfoil control program on the southern end of Lake Coeur d’Alene this week.  The $450,00.00 project involved monitoring and mapping Eurasian Milfoil and native aquatic plant communities in that portion of the lake and tributaries, treatment of extensive Eurasian Milfoil beds with a selective herbicide and using barrier curtains to contain the herbicide within treatment areas to reduce movement and flow, and post treatment evaluation.
